ADDICTION IS A MENTAL ILLNESS
Addiction is a mental illness. It hijacks the brain and creates substance use Anosognosia, leaving a sick person a danger to themselves and others. We must help those who cannot help themselves.
WE WANT ON-DEMAND TREATMENT
At Guardians Of Recovery, we believe that people in addiction must have ON-DEMAND treatement for as long as needed. Minimum 120 days up to 1 year. We will be working to change laws and support those who are ready for recovery and those who have Anosognosia and other mental illnesses that stop them from seeing that they are sick and therfore stop them from seeking treatment.
Living ADDICTION-FREE is a basic human right.
